Abstract
The E2 and M1 components of the O-16(p, gamma)F-17 and Be-7(p, gamma)B-8 cr oss sections, which are involved in the analysis of Coulomb breakup data, a re studied in a microscopic model. These investigations provide examples of unusual S factor low-energy dependences. [S0556-2813(99)03407-X].
