Abstract

We reevaluate some of the data presented recently by Hinnefeld er al. [Phys . Rev. C 58, 2563 (1998)] and use, in particular, a more accurate value for the ratio Gamma(gamma)/(p), of the partial widths of the 2750 keV level in K-37. Our analysis essentially confirms the conclusion drawn by these auth ors concerning the rapid depletion of Ar-36 at explosive hydrogen-burning c onditions. [S0556-2813(99)03907-2].
