Abstract
Only a few criteria have to be considered when choosing a statistical proce dure for a given research problem. We present a decision tree which helps t o select appropriate procedures for many simple experimental designs. The d ecision tree modifies an earlier one (Vorber, 1981) and includes new statis tical procedures as well as updated references. Two examples demonstrate ho w to use the decision tree.
