Abstract
A metallic intravascular support device (stent) was designed and built in M exico with a special technique developed in Mexico which, allow us to predi ct its behaviour once is implanted in living human being. After characteriz ation it is shown that its mechanical properties, in terms of its expansion -contraction as a function of pressure vs. diameter, are comparable with st ents commercially of available in the international market.
