Abstract
We present a tentative axiomatization of some concepts of Biology within th e axiomatic framework of the foundational theories off. De Giorgi. We assum e as primitives the notions of quality, relation, operation and collection, and we give a basic axiomatization of these notions. Working in this axiom atic framework we propose some general axioms concerning the biological con cepts of living object, operation of generation, species and operation of s peciation.
