Mv. Sharikova et al., Isobutene hydroformylation in catalytic systems based on rhodium compoundsand polyelectrolytes, RUSS CHEM B, 48(4), 1999, pp. 701-703
The catalytic properties of water-soluble systems based on rhodium complexe
s and polyelectrolytes in isobutene hydroformylation were studied. All of t
he catalytic systems exhibited an unexpectedly high activity under the cond
itions where homogeneous hydroformylation virtually did not occur in the pr
esence of conventional rhodium catalysts. A stable catalytic system based o
n acacRh(CO)(2)-PEG complex was proposed, allowing isobutene hydroformylati
on to be performed with a high activity under mild conditions.
