In the framework of the quantum theory of irreversible processes, it is sho
wn that the microscopic theory of equilibrium noises in electrical multipor
ts can be extended almost to the equilibrium state. It is found that the st
eady electrical noise near the equilibrium state is determined not only by
cross impedances of multiports but also by a set of rectification coefficie
nts that characterize nonlinear kinetic features of multiports at equilibri
um. The Faraday rectification appears to directly affect changes in the mag
nitude and character of the electrochemical noise, caused by the passage of
a direct polarization current through the electrochemical cell.
