Abstract
The fixed systematic error due to the shape of articles when measuring the coercive force in an open magnetic circuit is investigated. It is shown tha t the fixed systematic error in measuring the coercive force of Pi-shaped a rticles under certain conditions may amount to tens of percent. An explanat ion for this phenomenon is given.
