Abstract
The 14-membered macrocycle 3, an advanced intermediate in a synthetic appro ach to lophotoxin, was prepared from stannane 20 using an intramolecular St ille coupling. The acyclic structural analogues 6 and 7 were obtained by an alogous intermolecular coupling reactions. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. A ll rights reserved.
