Summarizes recent efforts that have completed the grouse restoration progra m in Missouri, Presents information on grouse abundance and trends from sho rt- and long-term monitoring at release sites. Reviews ruffed grouse huntin g in Missouri, and examines two case studies of grouse response to habitat management.
