Abstract
Exact analytic solution for the flow of non-Newtonian fluid of grade two ge nerated by periodic oscillations of a plane disk is obtained. The velocity field and the moment of the frictional forces are calculated and the result s are compared with those for Newtonian fluid. The moments caused by certai n special oscillations are also discussed.
