We outline a scheme for the generation of a train of entangled single-photo
n wavepackets using standard CQED-techniques. The generated photons are tra
nsferred to the continuum outside the resonator through cavity loss in the
form of wavepackets each of which may be regarded as a logical qubit. We sh
ow that undesired decoherence effects can be efficiently reduced in the con
sidered scheme.
