Abstract
We consider weakly interacting fermionic atoms in optical lattices. We show that the system can be described by the Hubbard model, and solve the BCS g ap equations. Cooper-pairing is shown to take place for parameter values wh ich are obtainable for alkali atoms in optical lattices.
