Palaeoenvironmental evolution between 14.500 and 10.000 years BP in the Catalan prepyrenees: the Parco Cave (Alos de Balaguer, Lleida, Spain).

The study has been made on the basis of the sedimentary (micromorphology) a nd palynological data of the deposit. From the correlation of the analyses it has been possible to state three phases: From 14.500 to 14.000 years BP. The climat is characterised by a humid and fresh weather. From 14.000 to 13.000 years BP. A change respect to the previous phase is d etected, with semi-arid and cold conditions and with some mild episodes. From 13.000 to 10.000 years BP. It is the most complex phase, whith three e pisodes: a) cold with a progressive increase of humidity; b) conditions of the semi-arid with some humid events and temperatures relatively cold, and c) cold and humid environment.
