Abstract
We report on measurements of the second harmonics in the magnetovoltage gen erated in [Fe(12 Angstrom)/Cr(12 Angstrom)](10) epitaxial multilayers. It i s shown that the variation of the amplitude of the second-harmonic signal w ith magnetic field is up to three times larger compared to the first harmon ic. The enhanced "magnetovoltage" second-harmonic effect may be of practica l use in systems based on spin electronic phenomena. (C) 1999 American Inst itute of Physics. [S0003-6951(99)03331-8].
