Radiative losses of optically thin coronal plasmas

In the present work the total radiative losses and the total emissivity cur ve are calculated for an optically thin plasma using the Arcetri Spectral C ode in the 10(4)-10(8) temperature range. Checks have been made on the effe cts of changes in the parameters involved in the calculations, such as elem ent abundances, ion fractions, electron density and transition probabilitie s on the resulting curves. Parametric fits are given for the resulting radi ative losses curves and comparison is made with previous results.
