Abstract
A photoelectron spectrum of the (XB1)-B-2[v' = (0,0,0)] state of H2O+ has b een recorded, excited with He I radiation. The line profile exhibits extens ive rotational structure, and a simple analysis based on the ground-state r otational population is used to interpret the spectrum. Judging from this a nalysis, c-type transitions account for the dominant part of the intensity. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
