Abstract
Cubic gallium nitride(zincblende type) was Chem. formed by reactions of Ga, gallium iodides, and gallium imide-iodides in supercritical ammonia under acidic conditions above 250 degrees C. Solvothermal transport and recrystal lization of c-GaN occurred above 440 degrees C.
