Abstract
This paper describes a TLC-densitometric procedure for identification and d etermination of bisoprolol, labetalol, and propafenone in pharmaceutical pr eparations. The compounds were derivatized with dabsyl chloride and chromat ographed on silica gel by ascending development. The separation of the dabs ylated drugs was followed by densitometric quantitation. The method was sat isfactorily applied to pharmaceutical preparations. The RSD of quantitation was between 1.6 and 2.3%.
