Abstract
The holmium:YAG laser has been used effectively for a wide variety of urina ry calculi. No cases have been reported of its in vivo use in the biliary s ystem. In this report, we describe its utility in intracorporeal lithotrips y of intrahepatic biliary stones and the urologist's role in providing expe rtise in small-caliber endoscopy and lithotripsy to other disciplines.
