Abstract
Controlled segregation of Ti substituted Y2Fe17 alloys, performed by solid- gas reaction between these alloys and N-2 gas (13 MPa) in the temperature r ange of 723-773 K, resulted in the formation of nanocomposite alloys. These nanocomposites are rather stable towards annealing at high temperature(107 3 K), and present a high magnetisation and rather soft ferromagnetic proper ties. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V.
