A study of the crystallization behaviour correlated with thermomagnetic mea
surements for Nd8Fe77Co5CuNb3B6 melt-spun ribbons has been carried out. A s
table two-phase structure is obtained only for annealing temperatures excee
ding 700 degrees C. Furthermore, when the crystallites are sufficiently sma
ll to result in significant exchange interactions, the samples reveal an ex
