Abstract
We have applied local current annealing under stress in amorphous ribbons t
o induce different,anisotropies. The magnetic structures of the samples wer
e observed by Bitter technique and a theoretical model of the induced stres
ses effect by the local current annealing has been done. From this model we
have obtained that the calculated induced stresses are in good agreement w
ith the magnetic structures observed in the samples. (C) 1999 Elsevier Scie
