Abstract
Here we extend our previous paper [L. Jentsch, D. Natroshvili, and W. Wendl and, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 220 (1998), 397-433], where the mixed interface p roblems were formulated. With the aid of the explicit solution for the rigi d contact problem, here the mixed interface problems are reduced to pseudod ifferential equations on manifolds with boundary. We obtain uniqueness and existence in Bessel-potential and Besov spaces. Embedding theorems yield Ho lder continuity with any exponent alpha is an element of (0, 1/2). (C) 1999 Academic Press.
