Abstract
The physical nature and properties of hexane as a laser dye solvent are dis cussed. Experimental facts and the dependence of the optical and electrical parameters on wavelength and temperature are provided. Additionally, high accurate calculations of more than twenty novel physical constants for hexa ne are given.
