Abstract
In this paper, scattering from Bragg rods is considered. For layered colloi dal structures, the intensity along Bragg rods reflects the stacking order of the layers. It is described how the small angle neutron (SANS) scatterin g intensity can be used to characterize layered systems. Scattering example s are presented for colloidal layers at rest and under sheared (flowing) co nditions.
