Abstract
An illustrative analysis of the magnetic shielding factor offered by a circular cylindrical anisotropic shell reveals the expedience of unde rtaking in-depth theoretical and experimental research efforts in the field of diverse electromagnetic shields based on anisotropic material s. Such efforts may promote the development of new technologies for pr oducing materials with an adequate degree of anisotropy and thereby pr ovide dramatically improved shielding performance.
