Abstract
A new approach, the multipole theory (MT) combined with the conformal trans formation method, is presented for the computation of the capacitances of s lab lines with offset cylindrical bars. With this new method, the capacitan ces of a slab line family with offset cylindrical bars are given. These dat a nor only permit the exact design of various offset configurations of slab lines, but also provide a known accuracy for manufacturing various coaxial configurations of slab lines.
