Entrapment neuropathies of the tibial nerve are relatively rare. They are o ften misdiagnosed largely because of the clinician's low index of suspicion . The clinical features, diagnostic studies, and treatment of these disorde rs are reviewed in detail in this article. Almost all of these disorders ca n now be confirmed through nerve conduction and other image studies.
