Abstract
Numerical studies, together with asymptotic and spectral analysis, establis h regimes in which soliton pairs in degenerate optical parametric oscillato rs fuse, repel, or form bound states. A novel bound state that is stabilize d by coupled internal oscillations is predicted. (C) 1999 Optical Society o f America.
