Abstract
Arrhythmogenic right ventricular (RV) dysplasia consists of a dilatation of the right ventricle with a reduction of RV ejection fraction with fibrofat ty replacement of the RV myocardium in the face of a well-preserved left ve ntricular systolic function. Arrhythmogenic RV dysplasia, which is a cause of sudden unexpected death, has been reported from many geographic areas, i ncluding the United States, Europe, and the Far East. This case report pres ents the first case of arrhythmogenic RV dysplasia in an American Indian (N ative American) patient.
