Dr. Condemi graduated from Columbia University and Albany Medical School, a nd pursued his early medical training at Rochester General Hospital, Lahey Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts, and the School of Medicine and Dentistry i n Rochester, New York. He became a tenured professor in 1973, In 1985, Dr, Condemi joined with Drs, Schwartz and Pulver in private practice to form Al lergy Asthma Immunology of Rochester (AAIR), Dr, Condemi is board certified in allergy and immunology and internal medicine, and is a fellow of the Am erican Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Al lergy Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Physicians, and the Am erican College of Rheumatology, Ne serves on the Board of Governors of the American Association of Certified Allergists, the regional, state, and loca l Allergy Societies, and the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. He w as one of the founders of the International Asthma Congress, which was esta blished to develop medical lay organizations in developing countries around the world. Dr. Condemi has won several awards, and was named the 1999 reci pient of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology's Special Re cognition Award.
