This qualitative study analyzed the process of inclusive education experien
ced by parents of children with severe disabilities. Based on interviews wi
th 20 parents, the study found that the process of inclusion extends beyond
the parents' initial placement decision to their ongoing involvement at th
e school site. At the schools, parents actively participate in the work of
inclusion. At the same time, the parents become entrepreneurs of meaning, s
haping the definition and reality of Inclusive education for their children
