Kj. Van Doorn et al., Unilateral hydronephrosis and recurrent endometrial stromal sarcoma with review of the literature, ACT CLIN B, 54(3), 1999, pp. 165-168
In this case we present a woman with arterial hypertension. Further examina
tion showed an unilateral hydronephrosis caused by extrinsic compression. A
tumoral mass, invading the caval inferior vein and the renal vein, is the
very origin of the compression. This mass is a recidive of an endometrial s
tromal sarcoma for which she had a hysterectomy in 1984.
