Giant self-contained metallosupramolecular entities

We present an approach to fabricate very large, soluble, self-contained met allosupramolecular entities employing a template-directed strategy based on charged nanoparticles: consecutive deposition of negatively charged macrom olecules and positively charged metallosupramolecular coordination polyelec trolytes is exploited to assemble the metallosupramolecular components on t he nanoparticles.
