In this article a numerical solution of non-isothermal helical flow for the
thermodependent Herschel-Bulkley fluids has been presented. The consistenc
y term (mu(o)) in comparison to other properties is more temperature depend
ent; therefore an exponential function in the form of mu(o) = mu exp(-bT) i
s considered. The governing equations are solved for two different physical
situations; constant temperature walls and for a case of constant heat flu
x using the implicit finite difference method. The results from numerical s
olution are compared with results of first law of thermodynamics and a good
agreement is noticed.
