A. Marcus et al., NONLINEAR PARAMETER-ESTIMATION OF STEADY-STATE INDUCTION MACHINE MODELS, IEEE transactions on industrial electronics, 44(3), 1997, pp. 390-397
The use of modern identification techniques in determining the values
of the steady-state equivalent circuit parameters of a three-phase squ
irrel-cage Induction machine is discussed, The identification procedur
e Is based on the steady-state phase current versus slip and input pow
er versus slip characteristics. The proposed identification algorithm
is of a nonlinear kind, The machine parameters are obtained as the sol
ution of a minimization of least-squares cost function of the differen
ce between calculated and experimental steady-state characteristics, S
imulation, as well as experimental results concerning the application
of the proposed algorithm to the modeling of a 1.5-kW wound-rotor thre
e-phase induction machine, are presented.
