Abstract
Our research, performed with 126 young adults, compared several techniques for analysing lying behavior : Criteria Based Content Analysis, Reality Mon itoring, and a non-verbal cue inventory. Half the criteria were sensitive e nough to show up lying in a face-to-face situation. Discussion concerns the development of a reliable list of criteria for professionals whose work re quites them to evaluate the discourse and behavior of witnesses.
