Abstract
The benefits and problems of applying brachytherapy to breast cancer manage ment are examined in this article. A history of breast brachytherapy is pro vided before the uses of brachytherapy in breast cancer are discussed, usin g several trials as examples. Techniques and tips for implementing brachyth erapy are provided and dosimetry is discussed.
