Abstract
In this paper, the performance of some communication systems using chaos sy nchronization is evaluated and compared. A new channel model taking the att enuation. impedance mismatch and noise into account, is proposed for the pe rformance evaluation. The evaluation of bit error rate is done for both ide al and non-ideal conditions using the channel model. It is confirmed that s ome chaos-based communication systems have a good performance compared with conventional analog communication schemes.
