Abstract
Uniform asymptotic Physical Optics diffraction coefficients for an anisotro pic half-plane illuminated at oblique incidence are given in this paper. Fr om the electromagnetic viewpoint such a structure is characterized by suita ble anisotropic impedance boundary conditions. The principal axes of anisot ropy can be not coincident with the half-plane edge. The solution is obtain ed by using a Physical Optics approximation of the equivalent surface curre nt densities on the half-plane and by performing an uniform asymptotic eval uation of the radiation integral. Some numerical results are reported to de monstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
