OMe-p)(3) gives the complex Re-4(mu-O)(4)Cl-4[P(C6H4OMe-p)(3)](4), which X-
ray crystallography has shown is the first symmetrical, neutral, tetrarheni
umcyclodiyne type cluster containing phosphine ligands.
