Abstract
The C-13 NMR signals of various 9-(2-hydroxymethylcyclopentyl)purines and 9 -(2-hydroxymethylcyclopentylmethyl)purines (purine = 8-azaadenine, 2,6-diam inopurine or 2,6-diamino-8-azapurine) were fully assigned with the aid of o ne-dimensional (H-1, H-1-H-1 NOE, DEFT) and two-dimensional (HMQC and HMBC) NMR experiments.
