Abstract
Using dual vector calculus, a method of determination of a developable rule d surface is presented. The dual vectorial expression of a developable rule d surface m(t, u) = p(t) + ux(t), p(t) is called the base curve of m(t, u), obtained from the coordinates and the first derivatives of the base curve, (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
