Abstract
WebClip(1) is a compressed video searching and editing system operating ove
r the World Wide Web. WebClip uses a distributed client-server model includ
ing a server engine for content analysis/editing, and clients for interacti
ve controls of video browsing/editing. It specializes several unique featur
es, including compressed-domain video feature extraction and manipulation,
multi-resolution video access, content based video browsing/retrieval, and
a distributed network architecture.
