Oa. Novodvorskii et al., The spatial structure of radiation at the exit from a hole formed by a laser beam in glass, OPT SPECTRO, 87(1), 1999, pp. 90-92
Variations of the angular spectrum of laser radiation transmitted through a
hole produced by this radiation in a glass plate 2 mm thick located near t
he focal point of a lens placed in the beam are studied experimentally. It
is found that such a hole behaves as a focusing device and possesses the pr
operties of a short waveguide. The divergence of radiation is studied as a
function of the relation between transverse dimensions of the hole and the
input beam.
