Abstract
A novel optical implementation of the Radon-Wigner display (RWD) was propos ed based on the fractional Fourier transform. By using a point-like white-l ight source, the RWD of a two-dimensional object can be easily achieved. Th e transform angle of the RWD is continuously varied because the wavelength component in the white-light source is a continuous distribution. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
