Abstract
We derive a nonperturbative evolution equation for the gluon propagator in axial gauges based on the framework of Wetterich's formulation of the exact renormalization group. We obtain asymptotic solutions to this equation in the ultraviolet and infrared limits. [S0556-2821(99)06113-5].
