Eudesmanolides and inositol derivatives from Taraxacum linearisquameum

The methanol extract of subaerial parts of Taraxacum linearisquameum Soest afforded two eudesmane type sesquiterpene lactones, 2 beta-hydroxysantamari ne-1 beta-D-glucopyranoside (2) and 3 beta-hydroxy-4 alpha H-3-dihydrosanta marine-beta-D (3) and two inositol derivatives, (1S,2S,4R,5S)-2,3,4,6-tetra hydroxy-5-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetyl]oxycyclohexyl-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl) acet ate (4) and (2S,3R,5R,6S)-2,3,5,6-tetrahydroxy-4-[2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetyl ]oxycyclohexyl-2-(4-hydroxy-phenyl)acetate (5).
