Abstract
Three new phenolic glycosides named eriosemasides A-C, one novel (named eri osematin F) and four known phenolic constituents were isolated from the n-B uOH-soluble fraction of the roots of Eliosema tuberosum. Their structures w ere established by spectroscopic analyses and chemical methods. All the phe nolic compounds were fungitoxic except the phenolic glycosides. (C) 1999 El sevier Science Ltd.
